School Age National Wrestling Titles 2010!!!

Congratulations to the Dragons club at the school age wrestling championships that collected 4 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.

Another great effort by entire dragons wrestling club, with limited preparation due to Christmas break we still managed to get a couple of training sessions in and bring home 16 medals

Queensland Wrestling Titles 2009!!!

A fantastic effort by the entire dragons wrestling club netted us a swag of 18 medals at the 2009 Queensland Wrestling competition.

Four Bronze medals

More Gold for the Dragons!!!

The future is looking bright for several of the Dragons club team. At the Perth Australian national school age championships on October 10-11. The Dragons club members took home 4 medals.

As well as the team doing especially well at the nationals, Liam Neylan also won a beach wrestling title in the 11-14 light division. Congratulations to all our wrestlers you have done your club and state proud!







Dragon Wins Gold!!!

Australian Cup
(Saturday 9 May 2009)


Brandon Bamin recently travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Australian Cup. In his first bout against a New South Wales competitor, he won the first round, achieving superiority being six points ahead of his opponent. Early in the second round, he pinned his opponent from a cross body throw winning the bout. The second bout was against a New Zealand competitor. Brandon pinned him in the early stages of the first round to get the win. In his final bout, Brandon pinned his Victorian opponent in the first round from a double leg shoot giving him the gold medal in the Cadets 85kg division.
